It is imperative to expand the involvement of wildlife in the development of the country by increasing the economic advantages obtained from wildlife resources via both consumptive and non-consumptive utilization strategies. The economic endeavors related to wildlife and its commodities need to be conducted in a lawful fashion that safeguards the wildlife from harm.
Ecotourism could contribute to Ethiopia’s economic benefits through nonconsumptive use mechanisms and encourage sustainable tourism in PAs. Interested persons who are applying to get a license for Eco-tourism development must fulfill the requirements set in the Tourism Facticity Development Directive No. 28/2016.
